Getting the Hanging Pot in Metal Gear Survive

Recommended Videos

The Hanging Pot is a pretty useful base camp tool in Metal Gear Survive. While you’re out exploring the environment, you’ll come across a few watering holes that provide you with dirty water. This can help to quench your character’s thirst, but it might also make you sick. The best way to keep your thirst level in check is to consume clean water, a resource which isn’t as readily available.

However, the Hanging Pot will allow you to boil dirty water and craft clean water. This tool can only be obtained once you’ve reached and cleared chapter 7 of the single-player campaign. Simply progress through the story until you’re tasked with securing the Wormhole Generator in the desert. After doing so, you’ll be able to craft the Hanging Pot back at your base camp. With this, you’ll then have the ability to craft clean water out of all your bottles of dirty water. This is a good source of clean water, so you’ll definitely want to get that Hanging Pot as quickly as you can. And that’s all you need to know about obtaining this item in the game.
