How to Attack and Equip Weapons in Metal Gear Survive

Recommended Videos

Metal Gear Survive is quite the deviation from the traditional Metal Gear games we’re used to. Yes, there is no Kojima this time and it’s not the grandiose story fans have grown to love, but at the end of the day, it’s more Metal Gear, but with zombies this time. If you’re here, you’re probably struggling with how to properly attack. Here’s how you do it.

First, make sure you have weapons set to your weapon slots in Metal Gear Survive. This is done before you go into a match in the ‘edit loadout’ section of the Repository. You can select the different weapons you have by using the d-pad and pressing X on PS4 or A on Xbox One to confirm your selection. Once you have the weapon that you want to use all equipped, press L2/LT to ready your weapon and then hit R2/RT to attack once you’re in the thick of the action.

That does it for how to attack and equip weapons in Metal Gear Survive. Best of luck out there! Be sure to search Twinfinite for more Metal Gear Survive guides and check our ever-growing wiki for more FAQs answered.
