Finding Liara in Artemis Tau in Mass Effect 1

After finishing the mission on Eden Prime and settling your affairs on the Citadel, the game opens up and provides you with three different leads to chase down. One of those leads is Dr. Liara T’Soni, the daughter of Matriarch Benezia who’s thought to be working with Saren. The only info you have is that she’s investigating Prothean ruins somewhere in the Artemis Tau cluster, and you’ll have to track her down yourself.

While on the Normandy, open the galactic map and navigate over to the Artemis Tau cluster. From here, go to the Knossos system, then select the planet named Therum.

Once you’ve selected it, you’ll see that the description states that there’s an archaeological dig site here, and that you’ll be able to actually land on it. That’s where Liara is, so disembark at Therum and you’ll be able to use the Mako to travel across the planet surface and find her.

As a general rule of thumb for when you’re exploring planets, don’t be daunted by the number of clusters and systems available to you. Most of these won’t let you actually land unless there’s a quest or something of interest to be found there. In addition to that, planet descriptions will give you an idea of what you can get there, and will also provide useful clues for quests that you’ve accepted.

That’s all you need to know about where to find Liara in the Artemis Tau cluster in Mass Effect 1. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
