Using Giant Bananas in Mario Kart Tour

The first thing you need to know to be able to even get giant bananas is that you have to choose Donkey Kong or Morton as your racer. The Giant Banana item is exclusive to these racers, so choosing Yoshi, Mario, or anyone else is going to make completing the challenge impossible.

Now it’s simply a case of starting a race. Choosing the Dino Dino Jungle or Rock Rock Mountain tracks when racing as Donkey Kong will give you the chance to ‘Frenzy’ your Giant Banana item.

Frenzy allows you to repeatedly use the same item over and over again, so if you combine this with the Giant Banana in Mario Kart Tour you’ll be able to use three and get the challenge completed in a single race. If you don’t, it’s okay, you can do this challenge over as many races as you want.

If you’re racing as Morton, you’ll want to race on Kalimari Desert for a chance of getting Frenzy.

Generally, you’ll want to be around on the 2nd or 4th position to maximize your chances of getting a Giant Banana with either of these characters. Also, keep in mind that you only need to use them, you don’t need to hit another racer.
