Is Loop Hero Coming to Nintendo Switch? Answered

In this guide, we’ll run you through whether or not Loop Hero is coming to Nintendo Switch.

Loop Hero is the old-school ARPG developed by Four Quarters which has been gathering a strong following of fans on Steam over the last week or so.

Here, players use a mystical deck of cards to try and get through the loop, with enemies dropping items and cards that can be used to jog your memory and reach a new threshold of world recovery.

It’s a fascinating concept, and the perfect kind of title to have on your Nintendo Switch while watching TV or listening to music, hence why some fans have been hoping for a port to Nintendo’s latest hardware.

Is There a Loop Hero Switch Port?

Currently, there’s no official announcement regarding Loop Hero coming to Nintendo Switch. The game is only available on PC and Mac at the time of writing, though there’s always the chance that things can change.

We’ve reached out to developer Four Quarters’ PR to see if there’s any official word on whether or not Loop Hero will ever come to Nintendo’s hybrid system, and will update this post if we get a response.

The good news is that Loop Hero should technically run on the Nintendo Switch, given the game is intentionally limited by the processing confines of a ’80s PC.

Your Nintendo Switch, while not being a tech spec juggernaut, is certainly more powerful than a PC from over 30-40 years ago!

It is worth keeping in mind that Four Quarters is a small, independent team and therefore may need to take a little longer porting Loop Hero to the Nintendo Switch or any other platform, given the scale of the task.

That’s everything you need to know regarding a Loop Hero Switch port right now. Should anything change, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
