While you’re playing as a different character in Little Nightmares 2, this time taking on the role of Mono, you’ll still want to don the first game’s famous yellow raincoat hat. As you find items and collectibles around the game’s levels, you’re able to change your character’s hat by heading into the pause menu and selecting the Hats option. It works in the same way with the yellow raincoat hat.
How to Get Yellow Raincoat Hat in Little Nightmares 2
In the first chapter in the woods, right after you escape The Hunter, you’ll have Six’s help in jumping over a bridge to continue.
Once you’ve over that bridge, you’ll spot the yellow raincoat hat in a cage just to the left. It’s not immediately clear how you actually grab it though.
What you’ll need to do is climb up the cages that are stacked up against the tree. Once you’re up them, jump to the left and grab the cage that the yellow raincoat hat is in. Then, stand on the top of it and jump three times to make the hat fall to the ground.
Jump down and grab it, which will add it to your inventory. You’ll then be able to pause the game, select Hats, and press X/A on the hat to equip it. Head back to the level and Mono will be wearing the famous outfit from the first game.
