Life Is Strange Before the Storm: Farewell Bonus Episode Release Date

Update: It has now been confirmed that Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s Farewell bonus episode will release March 6 alongside physical vinyl and limited editions of the game.

Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s first three episodes are finally out, telling the story of Chloe and Rachel Amber before Max hit the scene. Though the relationship between these two was certainly special and a treat to witness, there’s no doubt out there that fans still want more of Max. That’s why developer Deck Nine included the Farewell bonus episode in the Deluxe Edition. It takes place long before the events of Before the Storm and allows players to play as Max Caulfield one last time. As such, many fans are now clamoring for their chance to jump into the Life Is Strange universe, and want to know if the Farewell episode has a release date as of yet.

Currently, Deck Nine has yet to reveal a concrete release date for the bonus episode just yet. However, we do know that the episode will be arriving sometime in ‘early 2018,’ thanks to the Behind the Scenes video of the Farewell episode. Judging by the release schedule so far for Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, we’re currently predicting a release date somewhere towards the start or middle of February for the Farewell bonus episode. As soon as we have any concrete news or rumors regarding a release date, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.

Of course, it’s worth reminding that in order to play the Farewell episode, you need to have the Deluxe Edition of the game. If you just bought the standard pass, you won’t have access to it.
