Skipping Cutscenes
To skip cutscenes in Skyward Sword HD, simply press the – (minus) button on your left Joy-Con or on your Pro Controller.
This will cause the cutscene to end and the game will then put you back in control of the action.
Skipping Dialogue in Skyward Sword HD
If you’re looking to just skip the dialogue in a conversation Link is having, simply press B during it. This will cause the text on-screen to speed up and skip onto the next line.
Repeatedly tap B during dialogue to skip through it.
