How to Get the Talmberg Armor in Kingdom Come Deliverance

Armor and equipment play a big role in Kingdom Come Deliverance, not only drastically affecting your abilities in combat but also helping you finish quest in particular ways. One such example of this is the Talmberg Armor, one of the first armor sets you can get your hands on in Kingdom Come Deliverance. Interestingly, equipping this armor gives you a way to escape the castle near the beginning of the game without raising suspicion, but it can be a bit tricky to track down.

In order to start the hunt for the Talmberg Armor you need to talk to Radim at the gate of the castle and inform him that you need to leave and bury your dead parents. First things first though you’ll need a lockpick to get the armor, which you can get from Votava the trader, for a price. The best way to earn money at this early point is by stealing everything in sight and selling it to none other than Votava, just be careful to not get spotted stealing. Once you have a lockpick or two head to the castle. Once you step inside look to the right for a set of stairs and head up them, which will lead you to the top of the wall. Turn right and you’ll immediately see a small room with a chest in it, protected by a pretty easy lock.

Make sure to save your game at this point in case your lockpicks break, then head inside the room and make sure to close the door so no one can see you stealing. Go through the lockpick minigame and open the chest, then voila you’ll have found the Talmberg Armor. Now just equip everything and go talk to Radim again, and you’ll be let out of the castle scot-free.
