How to Find Hans Capon in Kingdom Come Deliverance

Recommended Videos

The seventh main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance titled “The Prey,” has you finding Lord Hans Capon at Rattay and competing against him in a hunting competition. Considering it’s a main story quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance, it’s easy enough to find, just look for Capon in the courtyard of Rattay around dawn.

This quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance is easy enough for a good while, just follow the objectives, but after Capon fails to capture a boar and runs off, it gets a bit more complicated. The final step of The Prey tasks you with finding the missing Hans Capon, but instead of giving you the exact location, you’re simply given a search area within the forest. First things first, before you go find Capon make sure you’re ready, as you will need to do battle with a couple of bandits at the end of the quest.

Within the yellow search area you’re given on the map, you’ll want to look in the very north of it, right smack dab in the trees. Comb the North area and you should see a small encampment, with Hans Capon tied to a tree right nearby. There’re two Cumans guarding him so either knock them out or kill them however you see fit, then untie Hans Capon. After that, the two of you will return to Rattay and the quest will be completed. You’ll even get your very own horse as a reward.
