The Saints are back and the gang has made new enemies in southwestern area of Santo Ileso. More enemies means more pain inflicted on you by them, and keeping your health up to survive any fight. Here is how to heal your health in Saints Row.
Heal Your Health in Saints Row
Health is very important to keep an eye on during fights because while the enemies in Saints Row are not very smart, taking on too many at once can quickly become overwhelming. Your character’s health bar will heal automatically on its own, but only at specific times.
Not taking damage during fights will fill your bar back up, but health is divided into segments. If a segment is completely emptied, it will not be refilled until the fight is over. To heal any empty health segments, you have to perform a Takedown move.
A Takedown can be done by pressing the Y/Triangle button when close enough to the enemy that they have a purple outline around them. Your character will perform a flashy melee attack, and be healed once it is over.
Takedowns also have a cooldown, which is represented as a circular Saints symbol at the bottom middle of the screen when it is ready. Killing enemies and damaging vehicles will decrease the cooldown percentage, and some weapons have special abilities that further decrease the cooldown.
Later in the game, your character will receive health upgrades after reaching certain levels. There are also skills that can be equipped to quickly heal during battle. Tough Mother, unlocked at level six, will give a temporary health boost that will negate a certain amount of damage. Transfusion, unlocked at level 11, will heal as you are damaging enemies once activated.
That are all the methods on how to heal your health in Saints Row. Check back with Twinfinite for more guides on the game that are also down below, and read our official Saints Row review.
