FIFA 23 Abel Ruiz Foundations Guide

Oftentimes, players are able to earn specialty cards through rewards, SBCs, or buying packs. Every once in a while, Squad Battles and Online Friendlies throw them a bone. In this case, players will be able to collect a handful of Liga Portugal players through milestone objectives.

What follows will be the five objectives, as well as the rewards for completing them.

It takes a little bit of menu hopping to access, but simply go from Home > Objectives > Milestones > Squad Foundations: Liga Portugal, and you’re there. It is the second of two Liga Portugal-themed objectives listed.

These five tasks do not have to be done in order, and if you’re efficient you’ll be able to double or even triple-up on them.

Victory in Portugal [Reward: Two Players Pack]

This one is very straightforward and will require a Starting XI of Liga Portugal players. Once you’ve got your squad all yet, you’ll have to win 8 matches in the FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece.

Perfect Twenty [Reward: 75+ Rare Player]

While you’re winning those eight matches, or at least attempting to do so, players must also score 20 goals using Liga Portugal players in the FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece. For what it’s worth, those goals do not have to come in a winning performance.

Playmaking Expert [Reward: Gold Pack]

Guess what? You’ll have to play more of FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece to complete this objective! In it, players must assist 10 goals using Liga Portugal players. Once again, these assists do not need to come in a winning effort.

Limitless Goal Scorer [Reward: Small Gold Players Pack]

Now, here’s where playing separate matches comes in to play. By now we’re sure you know you’ll have to play in the FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece to achieve this. You’ll also have to score an Outside of the Box goal using Liga Portugal players across 3 separate matches.

Ideally, you’ll be able to check this box off relatively quickly. Since you have to win eight and score 20 goals over the course of this friendly, doing this in three matches shouldn’t be too tall of an order. Time to find that free-kick specialist.

Classy Curl [Reward: Two Rare Gold Players Pack]

Lastly, list-wise, the 3 separate match requirement comes into play once more. While playing through the FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece, players must assist via a cross using Liga Portugal players. For what it’s worth, just make a full Liga Portugal squad now. You’ll be thanking us (and yourself) later on.
