How to Change Your Hair Style and Color – Pokemon Sun and Moon

Recommended Videos

Pokemon Sun and Moon only lets you pick from a handful of appearance options at the start of the game, but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with your starting hair style and color. If you’re looking to change your hair, it’ll be a piece of cake – so long as you have some cash on hand and a town in reach.

In most of Sun and Moon’s towns you’ll be able to find a salon. These buildings are identifiable by the scissors sign out front. The first town with a salon you’ll reach is Hau’Oli City, so keep journeying with your starter hair until you get there.

At the salon, you’ll need to pay 5000 Poke Dollars for a haircut and color change. If you just want a haircut, it’s 4000, and 2000 for just a color change. Sadly, you’re not able to preview the hair styles or colors before you select one, and you won’t get your money back if you don’t like the results. Save just before your salon visit if you don’t have the money for repeated experimentation.

That’s all there is to changing your hair in Pokemon Sun and Moon. For more guides, tips, and walkthroughs, check out our ever-expanding Ultimate Guide filled with everything you need to know.
