BitLife Secret Agent Requirements

Unlike most special careers in BitLife, it doesn’t seem like you need any specific stat buffs to become a secret agent. The main thing you need is enough cash to apply for a mortgage for a spy agency headquarters.

On top of that, you don’t need to be born in a specific nation, either. No matter where you’re born, you can set up your agency with no trouble.

Most of all, the two stats you’ll want to get to 100% are Smarts and Health. It’s only our speculation, but these seem likely to be very important when applying for spy agencies and the secret services. Considering real-life spies will face plenty of entrance tests, your BitLife character will need to hit the books from a young age. Health is a no-brainer too, as the risk of dying on duty means you’ll want to be in peak physical condition.

How to Join a Spy Agency in BitLife

As soon as you turn 18, your BitLife character will be able to apply for a role as a spy. Here’s how the process works:

  • Go to Activities > Secret Agent.
  • This brings up a list of potential fronts for your spy agency. This works like any other property where you can pay outright or get a mortgage, so go for one with the best location stat.
    • The mortgages for spy fronts are incredibly high, even in countries with a lower cost of living. You’ll need to settle for a poorly located one if you’re low on funds or drum up the money in other ways.
  • Once you’ve purchased an HQ, choose the name of your agency and your own spy codename.

Once you’ve successfully started your own spy agency, you’ve got plenty of options at your disposal. The first thing you’ll want to do is recruit agents to join your crew, via the Agent Recruitment option. This lists candidates based on their potential and background, letting you investigate them further, hire them, or pass them by.

Gadgets

Once you have at least one agent working for you, you’ll need to buy them some gadgets. From the Secret Agent menu, go to Spy Gadgets. There are plenty of wacky options, ranging from Fuzzy Handcuffs to a Promiscuity Potion. You’ll need at least one Level 1 gadget before you can send an agent on a mission.

Missions

These missions range from hacking into classified files to seducing a high-value target, with a bar showing the risk of each job and the potential payout if you succeed.

Each mission type brings up a different minigame to complete. They are as follows:

Mission TypeMinigame Description
Data BreachSlide four different colored dots to reach the other dot of the same color without any of them crossing over.
SeductionRead the brief on the target’s likes, dislikes, and hobbies and coordinate your agent’s outfit and approach correspondingly.
AssassinationChoose the weapon and location, then choose whether to engage or not when the opportunity presents itself.

Missions are high-risk, because if you fail to follow the brief – such as hacking into the wrong drive or seducing the wrong target – you’ll fail. In the worst-case scenario, the operative you assigned to the mission can go missing in action.

How to Improve Your Agency’s Prestige

The main thing you’ll want to do is install security systems to protect your agency from rival organizations. They can hack into your systems and steal cash or even poach your agents if you aren’t careful. It’s worth going for security cameras, biometric scanners, and voice recognition software to make your base safer.

Then, it all boils down to completing as many successful missions as possible. This will increase your prestige in the spy world and increase the risk and payout of future jobs.

That’s everything you need to boss the BitLife Secret Agent expansion! For more on the game, check out how to increase athleticism and how to improve looks.
