Just as was the case in the first game, Horizon Forbidden West features a huge array of different outfits and gear pieces to equip to Aloy. Not only do these alter her appearance but they also add layers of protection and different buffs to increase her defense in combat. Here’s how to change armor and get more outfits in Horizon Forbidden West if you’re unsure of the process.
How Get More Outfits in Horizon Forbidden West
To get more outfits, you’ll need to go to a Stitcher, which are NPC merchants normally found at settlements. They’re marked on your map with an armor/ outfit icon, which essentially looks like a shirt. Speak to them and buy them for some Metal Shards (the main currency). Some armor types will also need different machine components to craft; for example, the Carja Wanderer outfit requires a Sunwing Circulator and 399 Metal Shards.
