Hood Outlaws & Legends: How to Heal Your Health

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Hood Outlaws & Legends can get pretty hectic. With a PvPvE format, you’ll be facing off against another team trying to execute the perfect heist, while also dealing with AI guards trying to stop you both. As such, there’s a good chance you’re going to take some damage and will need to heal your health in Hood Outlaws & Legends. The problem is, it’s not exactly clear how you do this, so let us run you through the process.

Healing in Hood Outlaws & Legends

To heal, you’ll need to look towards your team’s Mystic (Tooke) player. The Mystic class has a special ability called Instinct which will restore your health fully with each use, though keep in mind this does take time to recharge after each use so it can’t just be spammed over and over again.

If you’re playing the Mystic (Tooke) class, you’ll also have the ability to equip the Vampiric Bludgeon perk once you’ve unlocked it at level 10.

With this equipped, a small percentage of the damage you deal to enemies will be converted into health. This, as far as we can tell, is a unique perk to the Tooke class, so if you’re using one of the other classes, you’ll need to rely on your Mystic to come to your aid as and when required.

If you’re using the Mystic class, we’d also recommend equipping the Innate perk, as this ensures your Instinct skill will be ready to use from the beginning of a match, rather than having to wait until it’s charged up.

Can You Increase Max Health?

Unfortunately, no. Your max health will remain the same in Hood Outlaws & Legends, regardless of how many character or player ranks you level up. This is done to maintain a level playing field for all players, rather than seasoned veterans having the advantage over everyone else.

And now you know how to heal in Hood Outlaws & Legends, you’re all set to take on other players in Heists. For more tips and tricks, search for Twinfinite or see more of our coverage on the game below.
