How to Get Money Fast in Graveyard Keeper

Recommended Videos

Graveyard Keeper has players taking on the role of one very confused man in a medieval setting. He must take care of a dark ages funeral home, basically, in what’s somehow more messed up than Six Feet Under. You’re going to be short on cash a lot, and it’s incredibly important to advance faster through the game. Thus, here’s how to get money in Graveyard Keeper and get it fast.

First and foremost, when you’re starting out, the easiest way is by selling the burial certificates that you’ll get from burying corpses in your graveyard. These can be sold at the tavern in the village to the East and will net you a modest sum. Not a lot, but it’s a good start, for sure.

I also definitely recommend foraging around the surrounding area for mushrooms, flowers, and berries, and selling those within the village, too. You won’t need those ingredients for much at the start and they could land you some extra coin. Basically, sell anything you feel you’re not going to need for awhile, since the technologies and crafting works on a progression system anyway.

Of course, as you’re following the story, you’ll learn of a stamp that you can use on products from corpses (like flesh) in the morgue  in order to sell them at the tavern. If you get your hands on that through its quest line, you’ll really be making big bucks then. Oh, and you can also get the stamp when the church is officially opened if you buy it from the royal services box for 50 silver.

And, finally, my advice is to get the church open as soon as possible and get it poppin’ quickly. Once you do, once a week you’ll be able to hold a sermon and after it, you’ll receive donations from everyone that attended and liked your prayer. Obviously, the better the church, the more people will come, so you’re going to want to keep improving it to earn more and more.

That’s all there is to getting money in Graveyard Keeper! If you need more help with the game, be sure to leave us a question in the comments down below. We love helping you out and would try our best to answer your query. If you’d rather find the answer yourself, though, use our search bar in the top of the site to get your answer.
