God of War has finally arrived on PS4, offering up stunning visuals, fast-paced, gruesome combat, and a softer side of Kratos. As you fight your way through the countless enemies you face off against, you may be wishing that Kratos could change up his clothes and outfits. Y’know, just so he has a little more style.

It is possible to change clothes and outfits in God of War by changing armor sets to alter your look. However, it’s worth noting that each individual armor set has its own stats that affect your level and how powerful you are As such, you’ll want to make sure you’re always wearing the clothes and outfits that offer you the best stats for your playstyle, rather than giving Kratos something fashionable to sport.

To change your armor in God of War, you’ll first need to press the Options button on your DualShock 4 controller. From there, use L1 and R1 to make your way to the Armor tab. You’ll now see the three different sets you can equip and change – Chest, Wrist, and Waist Armor. Simply select the armor sets you want to equip and you’ll be all set. This, in a sense, will change the clothes or outfits that you’ll see Kratos wearing in God of War.
