Ghost Recon Wildlands: How Turn Night Vision On and Off

Night Vision – Ghost Recon Wildlands

Recommended Videos

In Ghost Recon Wildlands, players will experience a day and night cycle that lasts rather long, meaning that you will have to conduct numerous night operations unless you like waiting around for the sun to come up. Thankfully, players can use night vision which will help them easily navigate the various towns, forests, mountains, and compounds scattered throughout Bolivia. In order to use this item, simply tap right on your D-Pad and the screen will automatically change coloration to reflect this. You can easily tell when night vision is on thanks to the green hue and your ability to actually navigate without bumping into enemies.

However, if you want to use night vision for your drone, then you’ll have to unlock it in the Skills menu. This is available from Level 1 and will only cost you a small amount of Skill Points and resources to actually obtain. Night Vision on your Ghost Recon Wildlands drone is activated the same way, only you have to actually be piloting the drone first before turning on this alternate vision mode.

The other visual mode for your soldier that is unlockable is Thermal, though it’s not terribly useful unless you are stalking targets through a forest. We recommend picking the night vision skill up right away for your drone since it’s one of the most useful tools in your entire Ghost Recon Wildlands arsenal.
