Can You Get Fortnite on Wii U?

Recommended Videos

Fortnite has taken the world by storm over the past year, standing out as one of the most popular battle royale games in the market. The game had originally launched on the PC before expanding to other platforms, such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and even iOS. With Fortnite in such high demand, fans can expect more ports of it in the near future. That being said, some players might be wondering if the game will be launching on the Wii U anytime soon.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Epic Games nor Nintendo have any plans of bringing the battle royale game over to the Wii U. With the Nintendo Switch in full swing, the gaming giant has been placing more focus on their hybrid console over their previous platform. Fortnite on the Switch seems like the only way to play the game on any Nintendo console, so Wii U fans might be out of luck. Still, if Epic Games or Nintendo ever does decide to bring the game over to the Wii U, we’ll be updating this post accordingly.
