When Season 4 Starts in Fortnite Battle Royale

Recommended Videos

Fortnite Battle Royale uses a Season system not just to give you a means of tracking your play progress against that of your friends over set periods of time, but also as a means to provide themed cosmetic content via the Battle Pass. For Season 3, Battle Royale focuses most of its cosmetics around a space theme, a theme that some now believe was forecasting Tilted Tower’s rumored demise in the near future. Of course, with Season 3 coming to an end soon, taking its Battle Pass and challenges with it, some players may be wondering when Season 4 starts in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Well, it’s quite simple really. Battle Royale’s Season 3 ends on April 30. From May 1, then, all of those unfinished challenges and unclaimed cosmetic items in the Battle Pass will be gone for good, and we assume that Epic Games will release the Season 4 Battle Pass and get things started immediately.

There is always the chance that Epic could wait to start Fortnite Battle Royale’s Season 4 until May 3, as this would tie in with the usual downtime and maintenance that brings the Battle Pass weekly challenges and new content fans have been getting used to.

As soon as we have confirmation of the exact date that Season 4 starts in Fortnite Battle Royale, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know. For now, though May 1 and May 3 seem like the best bets.
