Fortnite Battle Royale is about to embark on a new season, bringing with it a number of new cosmetics, weekly challenges, and an all-new battle pass. While season 2 has been good and all, fans are likely eager to dive into what season 3 has to offer and are probably wondering what the release date is.

Fortnite Battle Royale’s season 3 release date is actually tomorrow, Feb. 22. The news was confirmed via a tweet from the official Fortnite Twitter account which revealed that season 2 was extended through until Feb. 21. Of course, as one season ends, the next has to start, so you can expect to dive into the season 3 action in Fortnite Battle Royale as of tomorrow.

Alongside fresh cosmetics and a bunch of tiers to progress through once more, Season 3’s Battle Pass will also add 30 more tiers than we’ve previously seen, taking the total up to 100. And yes, that means you’ll be able to get your hands on even more loot if you do opt to pick up the optional Battle Pass content in the game.
