HOW TO PLAY FORTNITE BATTLE ROYALE MODE

Recommended Videos

Developer Epic Games has recently added a Battle Royale mode to its game, Fortnite. Those of you who have played the base game will know that while it is free to download, it requires you to purchase a Founders Pack before you are able to actually play. This is not the case for its Battle Royale mode, which is a standalone package and is completely free-to-play across all platforms.

In order to play the mode, you will need to download the separate Battle Royale game-pack via either PSN, Xbox Live, or Steam. Once you have downloaded and installed the game, all that is required to play is to create an Epic Games account. Then it is simply a case of choosing the mode on the menu screen and joining a server.

The game is still very much in early access, and though a recent patch has added the option to play in squads, as well as fix a host of bugs, the amount of content available is still quite limited.

That is all you need to know about how to play Fortnite’s new Battle Royale mode. For more information on the game, be sure to check out wiki page.
