Downloading the Judgement Disk Demo – Final Fantasy XV

Recommended Videos

Square Enix has released the third and final playable demo for Final Fantasy XV on PS4 and Xbox One. The catch is, you’ll need a Japanese account to download and check out the demo.

For the folks using Xbox One, the process is relatively straightforward. Once you’ve logged into your console with your Gamertag, go to the settings menu, select System, and Language and Location. From here, you can choose your new region. Once you’ve done that, reset your console and you’ll be able to access the store in your selected region.

For those on PS4, you’ll need to create an entirely new account. You can do this either through your PS4 or the official Sony PlayStation website. Fill in your particulars, and provide a valid address. You can enter any address, as long as it’s a location in Japan. This means that you can key in the address of a hotel in the country, or the address of any friends you might know who are living there. When you’re asked to provide payment and credit card information, you can skip this section entirely and choose to come back to it later. After that, your account will be successfully created, and you’ll be able to access the Japanese PSN store and download free titles and games.

Once you’ve done this, head to the Japanese store, and you should see the new Final Fantasy XV Judgement Disk demo on the front page.
