Final Fantasy XIV Patch 3.5 – Continuing the Main Story

Recommended Videos

Patch 3.5: The Far Edge of Fate is finally live, and players will get to continue their journey as the Warrior of Light with a series of new Main Story Quests, otherwise known as MSQs. Assuming that you’ve completed the Dragonsong War and all of the MSQs introduced in the game up to patch 3.4, you’ll be able to pick up the story again in Mor Dhona.

Teleport to Revenant’s Toll and head to the Rising Stones to speak with Tataru. This will initiate the quest “Tidings from Gyr Abania.” Simply follow the main story quest line as always, and you’ll eventually be asked to clear the new dungeon, called Baelsar’s Wall. This dungeon is part of the MSQ and you have to clear it before you’re allowed to proceed with the story. Baelsar’s Wall has an item level of 230, so you’ll need to make sure that you’re appropriately geared up before heading in. If you’re having trouble meeting the level requirements, you can spend Tomestones of Lore at Idyllshire to purchase more powerful gear for your character.
