With big matches on Saturday and Sunday, there were plenty of stand-out performers this weekend. Here are our FIFA 19 Team of the Week 9 (TOTW 9) predictions. Arguably the biggest match was the Manchester Derby on Sunday afternoon.

You can check out our predictions for FIFA 19 Team of the Week 9 (TOTW 9) in Ultimate Team below:

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 9 Player Predictions

  • Wojciech Szczesny – GK – Juventus – 87 OVR – This might be a long shot, only because the ex-Arsenal keeper only recently got his first in-form of the year, but he deserves another. Having saved a penalty from Gonzalo Higuain at 1-0 in their 2-0 win away at AC Milan, we might see him in the 23-man squad again.
  • Lukas Klostermann – RB – RB Leipzig – 81 OVR – Klostermann got a goal and an assist from full back in his team’s 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen
  • Sol Bamba – CB – Cardiff City – 81 OVR – Bamba scored a last minute winner vs. Brighton to secure the Welsh side’s second win of the season.
  • Adil Rami – CB – Marseille – 84 OVR – The veteran french defender was an all round performer in his side’s 2-0 win this weekend. She scored one goal, assisted another, and kept the all important clean sheet.
  • Thomas Partey – CDM – Atletico Madrid – 84 OVR – He might be known for anchoring the midfield and protecting his already solid back four, but Partey provided a goal an assist this weekend, getting him the Man of the Match award.
  • Christian Tello – RM – Real Betis – 84 OVR – Beating Barcelona 4-3 will be special for any Betis player, but even more so for Tello, being a product of the Catalan club. He got two assists in the game.
  • Donny van de Beek – CAM – Ajax – 81 OVR – With the Dutch club beating Excelsior 7-1, there were plenty of options for TOTW 9. However, with two goals and an assist, van de Beek gets our shout.
  • Marco Reus – CAM – Borussia Dortmund – 86 OVR – The biggest match in the Bundesliga, Dortmund vs. Bayern Munich, happened for the first time this season over the weekend. Dortmund came away 3-2 winners, with their talismanic German bagging two goals.
  • Memphis Depay – ST -Lyon – 85 OVR – He may already have a league SBC card, but with two goals and two assists this weekend, he’s surely going to be part of TOTW 9.
  • Edinson Cavani – ST – Paris Saint Germain – Scored a hat-trick this weekend in PSG’s match against Thierry Henry’s struggling Monaco side.
  • Alassane Plea – ST – Borussia Monchengladbach – 84 OVR – Another striker to have scored three goals this weekend, Plea did so in his side’s 3-1 win over Werder Bremen. Wojciech Szczesny

The full team will be revealed via EA Sports’ Twitter account at 10 am ET on Wednesday, and the players will be released into packs at 1 pm the same day.
