Things to Do After Beating Far Cry New Dawn (Post Game, End Game)
Clean Up Any Remaining Side Missions and Treasure Hunts
Even after beating the campaign in Far Cry New Dawn, there are still tons of optional things you can do. If you haven’t recruited all the Guns for Hire already, make sure to check out the remaining side missions left on your map. These are indicated by blue icons.
While it’s generally a better idea to recruit them all before actually beating the game, it can still be fun to roam around Hope County with plenty of different options for which allies you want to bring along with you.
Aside from that, if you’re looking to craft some of the higher end gear in Far Cry New Dawn, you can mop the remaining Treasure Hunts as well. These are usually fun little brainteasers that involve you going to a specified location, and using textual clues to figure out how to get to the materials cache.
You’ll be rewarded with tons of good resources for crafting, along with some potential lore notes that you can pick up.

Do Some Expeditions
Speaking of resources, Expeditions in Far Cry New Dawn are certainly worth checking out as well. These are pretty cool side missions that have you airlifted into a totally new location where you’re tasked with extracting a package and bringing it to a pickup point.
The map layouts for these Expeditions are pretty diverse, so if you love the stealth infiltration aspect of Far Cry games, these should be right up your alley.
Aside from just being fun to play, Expeditions also reward you with extremely valuable and high-end crafting materials. If you’re at a point where you’re starved for materials to craft the Elite tier weapons, go do Expeditions. They’re relatively quick to complete, and very lucrative.
If you’re looking for a challenge, all Expeditions can be repeated as well for better rewards, though you’ll be facing off against higher rank enemies, and will need better weapons as a result.

Scavenge All the Outposts
If you haven’t done so already, go ahead and liberate all the outposts in Far Cry New Dawn. This is by far the best way to farm Ethanol if you’re trying to fully upgrade all camp facilities at Prosperity.
There are fewer outposts in New Dawn than in Far Cry 5, but Ubisoft tries to make up for this by making the outposts repeatable as well.
Once you’ve liberated an outpost, you can scavenge it, which allows the Highwaymen to take it back. The Highwaymen guarding the outpost will be of higher rank, and there will also be more alarm systems to be aware of.
However, if you manage to take back the outpost again, you’ll get an even greater Ethanol yield, allowing you to upgrade all the camp facilities in Prosperity to your heart’s content.
Each outpost can be scavenged twice, so make sure to upgrade your weapons before coming back for the tougher challenges.

Do the Dear Photo Challenge
Near the start of the game, you’ll get a radio call from Rye, which gives you a new side mission to pursue called Dear Photo. This is a special collectible quest that tasks you with exploring the entirety of Hope County, and finding the locations that match the photographs you have.
The photos serve as a bittersweet reminder of what things were like before the nuke dropped, and if you’ve played Far Cry 5, this is a great opportunity to revisit some of the iconic locations you spent so much time in.
Most of the locations in New Dawn are still recognizable, but some have changed considerably. It’s a nice trip down memory lane for fans of Far Cry 5, and it’s a good activity to check out once you’ve beaten the game and things have calmed down a little.

Play the Game With a Friend
Even if you’ve managed to 100% the game and crafted the best weapons you can find in Far Cry New Dawn, that doesn’t mean you can’t extend a helping hand to a friend in need.
Just like in Far Cry 5, New Dawn features online co-op, where you can join another player’s session and do missions together. This includes all side missions, as well as story missions. Do note, however, that if you’re joining a session, story progress won’t be carried over to your game. But if you’ve already cleared the story, you can help another friend clear it.
When in co-op, the Guns for Hire won’t be available, but let’s face it, you’re probably way more competent than the AI-controlled ally anyway. Hopefully.
That’s all you need to know about things to do after beating Far Cry New Dawn. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
