Is There a Mini Map in Far Cry 5?

Recommended Videos

Far Cry 5’s land of Hope County is pretty huge, and with its mountainous regions and winding rivers, it can be pretty difficult to navigate around. As such, you’ve probably been wondering if there’s a mini map that you can use, rather than having to open up the large map in the menus.

Unfortunately, there is no mini map in Far Cry 5. Despite having a number of interface options that can be turned on and off from the system menu, mini map is not one of these options.

Instead, you’ll need to use the compass wheel at the top of your screen to work out what directions you’re going in, follow objective markers, and see other points of interest nearby. It’s not quite as useful as ac actual map, but it does mean you’ll venture out into the wild and see more of Hope County than you would otherwise.

Though there isn’t the option in the game right now, there’s always the possibility the feature could be added in a future update. We’re just speculating here, but we’ll update this post if anything changes.

That’s all you need to know about whether or not there’s a mini map for you to use in Far Cry 5. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
