Can You Get Far Cry 5 on PS3?

Recommended Videos

Far Cry 5 is the latest title in a longstanding series. Many of its mechanics, as well as the formula of its open-world gameplay loop, will be familiar to anyone that played the first games of the previous console generation. Indeed, Far Cry is a series that first rose to fame on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. As a result, many players still using their PS3 systems will be wondering whether this latest title is making its way to Sony’s seventh generation console.

Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. Far Cry 5 is only available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This latest game really does push the graphical capabilities of even the current generation, so it’s very unlikely it could run on anything less capable.

The chances of the game coming to PS3 in the future are extremely slim. Of course, if there are any plans for a port, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know. Until then, you’ll just have to look at upgrading to a new console or gaming PC to play the game.

That’s all the information we have about whether you can get Far Cry 5 on PS3. For more information and useful guides on the game, check out Twinfinite’s expanding wiki page.
