How to Get More Quests and Missions in Fallout 76

Recommended Videos

There are a wide number of quests players of Fallout 76 can embark on, ranging from the main missions integral to the game’s progression to side activities that provide boons and bonuses. Players will want to complete as many as possible to improve their odds of surviving the West Virginia wasteland, so today we’re here to help you learn how to get more quests and missions in Fallout 76.

How to Get Main Quests

When it comes to main quests in Fallout 76, there isn’t much to how you unlock them. The main mission line will be available to players as soon as they start the game, and with each portion they complete, a new main mission will be unlocked. Players simply need to continue to play the game and continue to complete main quests to unlock more.

How to Get Side Quests

Fallout 76’s side quests, on the other hand, are a bit more varied in how they are opened up to the player. They can trigger by coming within range of certain locations, listening to holotapes or simply by exploring more of the game’s world. The best way to get them is to explore the world and listen to any and all holotapes that are found along the way.

How to Get Radio Quests

Fallout 76 also has quests and missions that are triggered by listening to radio signals. Found scattered around the wasteland of West Virginia, these signals can be picked up via the Pip-Boy and lead players to all manner of adventure.

To access these signals and trigger their missions, open the Pip-Boy menu with Circle button on PlayStation 4 or B button on Xbox One, cycle over to the radio menu with the R2 or RT button and then select the radio transmission you’ve picked up with the X or A button.

Hopefully, this clears up how to get more quests and missions. Fallout 76 is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 14. For more on the game check out our Fallout 76 wiki, or some of our other guides on topics like how to fast travel or how to play with friends.
