Fallout 4 Nuka-World: Minimum Required Level to Start the Quest

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Fallout 4’s Nuka-World DLC just released this week and many players will be excited to head through the gates of the park and see what lies in store. However, it might be worthwhile just making sure you’re at a good enough level before jumping right into the action.

First things first, Fallout 4 actually does a good job of making sure you don’t go in completely unprepared into Nuka-World. The quest will only automatically appear when you’re level 30. If you’re not quite there yet, be warned that the Nuka-World is going to prove very difficult, though there is a way to proceed. Simply travel all the way West on your map nearby the Lonely Chapel and follow a path up through the rocks to the West. After a while, you should come across the Nuka-World Transit Center. Discovering this should then activate the questline for you to start.

While the game suggests you start at level 30, we’d say you want to be a little higher than even this. For most players, we’d suggest a starting level somewhere within the mid 40’s. This should see that you aren’t breezing through, but also aren’t spending tons of ammo on taking down one enemy. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a challenge and have proficient wasteland survival skills, level 25-30 should put you to the test.
