How to Roll & Dodge in Dynasty Warriors 9

Recommended Videos

Dynasty Warriors 9 opens up a whole world for players to explore. That doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of combat trickled in, though. You’re going to find yourself fighting through wave after wave of enemies, like a true DW game. As such, you’re going to want to know how to handle yourself in battle. Here’s how to roll out of the way and dodge attacks.

When you’re ready to do this, and you feel like you’re about to be hurt, you can perform what Dynasty Warriors 9 calls a Dash. This is basically a fancy name for rolling or dodging. You need to press R2 if you’re on PS4 or RT if you’re on Xbox One. This will definitely consume your stamina (the green bar on the bottom left-hand side of your screen), so be careful not to use it too much. This is also a useful technique to use when you want to move closer to someone you’re facing.

That’s about all you need to know to roll and dodge your way to victory in Dynasty Warriors 9. If you need any more help with the game, let us know in the comments below! We’ll try our best to help you out.
