Raditz’ Initiation Test in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Recommended Videos

Raditz, the black sheep of the legendary saiyan family, is back again in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It’s time to befriend that beautiful head of pineapple-ish hair and become his mentee. That’s right, you can choose this villain that got whooped by Piccolo as your mentor! Why would you? For the moves, of course!

Where is he? By the stairs leading to the time nest.

The first thing you need to do after you find Raditz and accept his mentorship, is simply defeat him in a sparring match. It’s not difficult at all, as it’s the first quest for one of the easier mentors.

Once you do complete this, you will receive the following:

  • 100 Zeni
  • Double Sunday

Now, you’re good to move on to lesson number one. Keep in mind that if you’re not able to progress in the lessons, it means you need to progress in your advancement tests at the school (lower left-hand corner of the map).

Lesson 1: Saturday Crash

This time around, Raditz has asked for a bit of help. He’s realized just how bad of a fighter he is, it seems. It’s time to face up against the second saiyan that lives in Vegeta’s shadow: Nappa. Unfortunately, he’s not the ghost version. For this lesson, you’re going to be facing up against both Raditz and Nappa. But don’t worry, there are no special conditions to this sparring match. Simply beat them and you will have earned more of their respect. Whatever that is worth.

Upon completing this lesson, you will receive the following:

  • 200 Zeni
  • Saturday Crash

Alright, it’s time to move on to the second lesson.

Lesson 2: Shining Friday

Raditz loves moves that have to do with days of the week. How did I never notice that before? Anyway, for this lesson, there is a special condition. You will need to beat Raditz with Shining Friday. Don’t worry about getting his health too low, you won’t be able to defeat him without doing the move. However, do worry about how you won’t have ultimates to use during the fight, and Nappa and Vegeta will be trying to stop you. By pummeling you. It’s best to just focus in on Raditz, though, as he’s the one you truly want. Never thought that sentence would be written.

When you beat him, you’ll receive the following:

  • 300 Zeni
  • Shining Friday

Lesson 3: Weekend

It’s the friggin’ weekend, and Raditz is about to have him some fun, fun. It’s time to complete the mentor quest line for him, by sparring with him one last time. This time around, you will just have to beat him and make sure to use Weekend as your finisher to the fight. This is the last fight in the mentorship, but it’s still nothing compared to harder mentors, so don’t worry! Keep your head focused. You’ve got this.

Once you finish Raditz’ last mentor quest, you will receive these:

  • 400 Zeni
  • Weekend

Congratulations! You have completed yet another mentor’s quest line. For more help with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, including more mentors, be sure to check out our wiki.
