Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball FighterZ’s multiplayer modes are clearly going to be a huge draw for many Dragon Ball fans. With over twenty of the series’ iconic characters to choose from, each with their own special moves and combos, there’s going to be plenty of competitive gameplay to keep us entertained. If you’ve recently been playing the Dragon Ball FighterZ’s beta, you’ll have likely experienced the game’s social space. This lobby area contains several different areas to explore, including the practice area, and ranked Battle Arena. Here, players are represented by their own avatar lobby character, which can be selected via the menu options.

As standard, players will appear in the lobby as Goku, but you can change your character if you wish. Simply go to the main menu and select “Customize”, then “Select Lobby Character”, which will bring up all the different lobby character options. Here, you can not only select which avatar you want to play with but also what color pattern they’ll wear. There are usually five or six different color options.

Note that players who pre-order Dragon Ball FighterZ will have access to special chibi-style Lobby characters that aren’t available in the base game.

That’s all you need to know in order to change your lobby character in Dragon Ball FighterZ. For more useful information on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
