HOW TO KI BLAST IN DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball FighterZ meshes the slick 2.5D 60fps beat em’ up action akin to the Street Fighter series with Dragon Ball’s roster of colorful and iconic characters. Finally, fans have a chance to go Super Saiyan in a game that truly captures the spirit of the nineties anime show. If you’ve already been playing, or you’ve just watched some gameplay footage, you’ll have spotted straight away just how faithful the game is the source material. And what’s more classically Dragon Ball than the Ki Blast? The go-to show of power that we’ve seen so many times in the TV series is something you can now fire off at will in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The Ki Blast is a simple move in the game, executed by hitting the special attack button, which is X (PS4), or A (Xbox One). But before you blast one off, you’ll need to charge your Ki. To do so, hold Square at the same time (PS4), or X (Xbox One). Once you’ve charged up your Ki, you can then hit the special attack button.

Keep in mind that a Ki Blast can be deflected by a skilled opponent if they press Back + Special Attack with proper timing. An opponent can also Super Dash through your Ki Blasts in Dragon Ball FighterZ, so be careful when you use them.

That’s everything you need to know about how to Ki Blast in Dragon Ball FighterZ. For more useful information and guides on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
