How to Get the Sunshot in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

The Sunshot is an exotic Hand Cannon in Destiny 2 that you can equip in the Energy Weapon slot of your loadout. It is perfectly suited to the Gunslinger Hunter, with its capability to land headshots and explodes enemies one after the other. If you happen to have obtained the Sunshot (Hand Cannon), you get even more perks for this potent firearm.

The perks for the Sunshot Hand Cannon are:

Sunburn – Fires explosive rounds that highlight hit targets.

Chambered Compensator – Increased stability and improved recoil. Decreased handling speed.

Accurized Rounds – Has increased range.

Sun Blast – Killed targets explode.

Textured Grip – Increased handling speed, slightly decreased stability.

You are able to get this powerful Hand Cannon as an exotic engram from a randomised drop. It won’t have a high drop rate but you’ll be able to add it to your collection if you are lucky or you put a lot of time into the game. It may also show up in Xur’s randomized offerings when he appears each week. We will be sure to let you know as soon as he has it in stock.

That is how you get the Sunshot Hand Cannon. Check out our wiki for more on Destiny 2.
