Update 2: Now that the Trials of the Nine has kicked off in Destiny 2, it’s been confirmed that the Lest Ye Be Judged trophy or achievement regards this PvP event. We’ve broken down what you need to know for how to get the Lest ye Be Judged trophy and achievement in Destiny 2 down below.

  • Win one match in the Trials of the Nine Crucible PvP event.
  • You’ll now be able to access the Third Spire.
  • Once you arrive, talk to an Emissary of the Nine and the trophy or achievement will be yours. Thanks to Sean-Paul for the information which we have also verified ourselves.

Update: Now that Xur has finally shown up in Destiny 2, it turns out that the Lest Ye Be Judged trophy/ achievement in Destiny 2 isn’t tied to simply visiting him. We originally believed this to require you to simply visit Xur due to the wording of the description and the Jovian Worlds symbol (IX) in the top left corner of the trophy image. Since this is not the case, we believe it could have something to do with The Trials of the Nine, or, perhaps something to do with the Jovian Worlds outside of this. We apologize for the misinformation and will update this guide once more as soon as we know for certain.

If you’ve had a peek at Destiny 2’s trophy/ achievement list, you may have spotted one called Lest Ye Be Judged. Unfortunately, while most of the other trophies and achievements on the list have helpful descriptions that give you an idea of what you need to do to unlock it, Lest Ye Be Judged’s is a little bit cryptic.

While veteran Guardians will probably be able to work it out, newcomers may be a bit stumped by the description. It reads “Encounter an Emissary from beyond.” What this may be actually referring to is everyone’s favorite Agent of Nine, Xur. This guy pops up every week with a fresh roster of random exotics that players can buy. The challenge in meeting him, however, comes in the fact that he’s in a different place each time he shows up. Another possibility is that it’s part of the Trials of the Nine challenge that is also set to release when Xur arrives. We’ll be sure to update this guide when we can confirm.

We’ll be detailing Xur’s location in Destiny 2 each and every week as well as hopping into the new Trials activity.
