How to Get Glimmer Fast & Easy in Destiny 2

While a lot of the loot and gear you earn in Destiny 2 will simply be earned by decrypting engrams or paying in special currencies, Glimmer still has a place in the pockets of Guardians. Of course, some newcomers may be wondering exactly what they need to do to get Glimmer fast and easily in Destiny 2.

You actually get Glimmer for a ton of different things in the game. The easiest way to earn it is simply by killing every enemy you see. You’ll get chunks of it for most kills, so make sure you’re picking off enemies as you go. Certain missions in Destiny 2 will also reward you with Glimmer, though the amount varies, so you’ll want to ensure you’re supplementing this with other sources as and when you can.

If you’re still struggling to get enough of the shiny stuff for whatever it may be that you want to purchase, you’ll actually get some when you dismantle old bits of gear that you no longer need for your space adventure.

You may also find while playing that a few item drops in the game will give you chunks of this shiny currency, too.
