How to Get the Selfie Emote in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris has finally arrived and brings with it a bunch of new content. Alongside the new story missions, exotic weapons and armor, and end game content, there’s also some fun cosmetic items like emotes. One that’ll have Guardians talking a heck of a lot is the new Selfie emote, so here’s what you need to know to get it in Curse of Osiris.

The Selfie emote is gotten in the exact same way as other emotes in Destiny 2. For this, you’ll need to get your hands on Bright Engrams and hope for the best. Bright Engrams can contain shaders, ships, ghosts, and ornaments for your weapons, as well as emotes. As such, getting the Selfie emote could be quite tough. Not because you need to do anything particularly difficult, but because of the RNG game you’ll need to play.

Bright Engrams can be bought from Tess Everis of Eververse, earned every time you gain a new level (or fill the bar when you’re at max level) or as rewards through playing Destiny 2 and Curse of Osiris’ story.

Finally, there’s a chance that the selfie emote could appear in the inventory of the Eververse which rotates with reach reset. So keep an eye out each week.
