Destiny 2 Adept Weapons & Mods Explained

As we noted above, Adept Weapons are even more powerful variants of the regular Trials of Osiris weapons you may already have.

That’s because an Adept Weapon are not only the guns you know and love (and also masterworked), but will also receive a +3 bonus to any stat that isn’t already boosted by its primary ‘masterwork’ stat.

Also, these weapons also come with their own unique shaders, ensuring that they standout to other players and show the caliber of player that you are!

Adept Mods come in two different forms. The first kind simply bolsters one stat by +10, let’s say stability. Easy enough.

The other kind of Adept Mod functions similarly to the Iron Banner perks released during Year 3 of Destiny 2. These Adept Mods can do things such as increase fire rate by +40, but reduce your handling or accuracy by -20.

How to Get Adept Weapons in Destiny 2’s Trials of Osiris

To get Adept weapons in Destiny 2 Beyond Light, you’ll need to go Flawless in Trials of Osiris.

Going ‘Flawless’ in Trials of Osiris essentially means you’ll need to win seven consecutive matches without losing a single one. Before you go and get your seven straight wins, you’ll also want to get to Saint-14 in the Tower and choose one of the boons on offer here.

We’d advise getting some trusted friends or family members in your Fireteam to help you get your Flawless run in Trials of Osiris.

After doing this, you’ll then need to open the Flawless chest at Mercury’s Lighthouse.

What’s important to note here is that Adept Weapons will only be on offer from this chest every other week. The week’s in-between will offer up Adept Mods to help make your existing weapons even more formidable.

There you have all you need to know on Destiny 2’s Adept Weapons. For more tips and tricks, head on over to our guide wiki, search for Twinfinite, or check out more coverage below.
