Getting the Power Skeleton in Death Stranding

The Power Skeleton is one of the most useful tools you can get in Death Stranding, as it allows you to sprint faster even when you’re loaded up with tons of cargo. The only downside is that you won’t be able to attach any cargo to your hips.

To get it, you’ll first need to get to episode 3 in the story, and clear the mandatory story missions in Lake Knot City. After that, simply accept the new order that takes you to the Engineer waystation just south of Lake Knot City. Completing this delivery will reward you with the Power Skeleton.

As your connection level with the Engineer increases, you’ll be able to upgrade the Power Skeleton even further to make it more effective.

How to Equip Power Skeleton

To equip the Power Skeleton, first make sure you’ve fabricated it and have it in your cargo. Then, from the cargo menu, select it by pressing X, then choose the Equip option.

Once you have it equipped, press L3 while moving to start sprinting and you’ll find that your running speed is much faster and more stable even with tons of cargo on you.

To recap, here’s how to get and equip the Power Skeleton in Death Stranding:

  1. Reach episode 3, and accept the delivery in Lake Knot City that takes you to the Engineer waystation just south of you.

  2. Fabricate the new Power Skeleton reward.

  3. From the cargo menu, select the Skeleton and equip it.

  4. Press L3 with it equipped to run faster.
