Crow Talons – Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel

Recommended Videos

Dark Souls III is full of new and interesting weapons that allow players to customize and experiment with new styles of play. One of these new, unique weapons is the Crow Talons which can lay on some serious damage if used by a high Dexterity user. However, you will need to slay a ton of bird monsters in order to get to this new Ashes of Ariandel weapon.

Start at the Corvian Settlement bonfire and head across the bridge towards the bird monsters making their way up the hill. A Rogue-based Corvian will appear and attack you, so make sure to deal with him with care otherwise he will end your hunt prematurely. From there, head right down a path between some rocks and a building that is just before the staircase in front of you.

Go along the path and be careful of the various Corvian who are looking to push your Ashen butt over the edge of the cliff. Once you reach an area with a small staircase, kill that monster and head up the ladder. Turn left and drop down onto the small bridge that leads to more houses. If you haven’t unlocked the shortcut turn around and head into the room with a ladder, unlock the door and you will have a quicker path to the roofs.

Quickly run across the small bridge towards the open door, making sure not to hang outside to long. There is a Corvian Mage on the roof that you cannot reach just yet, so head inside, go right and follow the walkway back outside. Wrap around the wall and then move across the small planks to the roof top. Kill both of the Corvian and you will find the Crow Talons with them.

This is a fast attacking weapon, so make sure to couple it with either a Bleed or Poison effect to maximize your damage output. Now all you need are some feathers and you can blend right in with the rest of Dark Souls III’s Corvian.
