Best Way to Level Driving in Crackdown 3
Crackdown 3’s leveling system is based on leveling different skills to increase your overall survival chances against the game’s villainous targets. One of the skills that takes longer than the others is driving. Here is the best way to level driving in Crackdown 3.
Unlike other skills which are very easily obtained by just doing what you would normally do, such as shooting and killing enemies with firearms.
However, just driving around in Crackdown 3 doesn’t earn you any purple orbs. The only way to get them by simply driving would be to do drifts and other dangerous maneuvers, but that only gets you an extremely small amount.
Instead, the best way to level driving in Crackdown 3 is to do one or all of these three things: Run enemies over, complete stunt jumps, or complete races. Let’s break all three of these downs.
When you approach a group of enemies in your car, instead of getting out and shooting them, you can just simply run them over and they will drop purple orbs for you to collect instead of the usual blue, red, or yellow. It’s not as effective as the other two methods and won’t help you a ton in the higher levels for driving skill, but it’s decent.
Next, you want to look for stunt rings. These are the massive purple rings with a steering wheel in the middle that litter the open world. They are so incredibly massive and very hard to miss.
Just doing a couple will VERY quickly get you up to level 2 driving, so you can at least have the Agency vehicle, which will make all future stunt jumps much easier. It’s fast, and it can switch to an all-terrain mode.
Finally, compete in races. These are also littered around the open-world. You can check their location by going to your map and then zoom in a little for more detail. Look for checkered flag markers, drive over, and compete. Get higher medals, and you’ll get more skill.
That does it for the best way to level driving in Crackdown 3. For more tips and tricks, be sure to check out our Crackdown 3 wiki guide. Or if you prefer, give our full review a look for our opinion on how the latest in the long-running series panned out.
