How to Level Up Skills Fast in Crackdown 3
Crackdown 3 has made it to Xbox One and PC after a lengthy development process filled with delays. Fans can finally jump into their favorite Terry Crews simulator and blow things up. You’ll do that a lot more effectively if you know how to level up skills fast in Crackdown 3, so let’s talk about it.
In Crackdown 3, you level up by increasing your skills. When you do that, you’re more effective thanks to the new abilities that you get which gives you a better chance of surviving against hordes of enemies. Thus, it’s important that you’re constantly working to improve yourself.
Most of the skills, with the exception of Agility, which we’ll touch on in a bit, are leveled up the same way. You just simply need to do “stuff” in the category that you’re trying to increase. When you do that, small colored orbs will drop that when picked up, will level up the skill it’s associated with. Let’s break down what we mean for each category.
- Firearms (Teal): Defeat enemies using your guns. Simple enough right?
- Explosives (Yellow): Blow people/robots up using grenades or special Yellow-class firearms such as the Grenade Launcher.
- Strength (Red): Pound B, and beat everyone up using your bare hands.
- Driving (Purple): Preform stunts, run over enemies with your car, and compete in races.
- Agility (Green): Collect Agility tokens scattered throughout the city.
As you notice, Agility is the only outlier here. In order to level up the Agility skills, you need to search around for green tokens around the city. These tokens are usually perched atop buildings that require you to do a bit of platforming to get to them. As you level it up, you’ll gain new movement abilities that will make it easier to reach harder to get ones.
The best way to level up your skills fast is to use the right agent for the job. Each agent has their own set of perks that will increase their skills faster.
At a supply point, you can access your Agent DNA, and from there you can switch agents at any time and take advantage of their skill set. If you want to stick to one throughout the game, you should pick one that covers skills that you have a hard time leveling up.
Otherwise, if you’re grinding to level up as fast as possible, constantly switch to agents that are better in the attribute you want to focus on.
