In Bus Simulator 18, your goal is to make your bus company the wealthiest it can possibly be. You can gain a lot of money from going on different bus journeys, but the fastest way to global domination is to hire some lackeys to do it for you.

You’re unable to hire drivers at the very start of the game, but it will only take a few trips until you unlock the ability. However, it’s not really useful at the very start anyway. You want to wait until the objective ‘Hire a Bus Driver’ becomes available. If you hire drivers beforehand, they can’t really do much apart from sap your funds. Once you have the ‘Hire a Bus Driver’ objective in your list, go ahead and select the employees tab at the left side of the menu. You should see a list of applicants that you can choose from on the right-hand side. The descriptions don’t make much of a difference in terms of the money that an employee can make you, so don’t worry too much about whether an applicant enjoys long walks at the beach or not. Once you’ve decided who you’d like to hire, simply select the hire option, and they’re yours. You can hire as many drivers as you like, so long as you’ve got the money to pay them.

At first, you’ll only be able to hire apprentice drivers, but as you progress further into the game, you’ll be able to hire better and better drivers. Once you’ve hired your driver, be sure to assign them to a route to start raking in the cash.
