How to Get the Ion Cannon Legendary Rocket Launcher in Moxxi’s Heist

This is another boss weapon so through the course of the story you will eventually get to the Jack’s Wild main quest. At the end of the quest you will have to fight the Fabricator who will drops the Ion Cannon. This boss is easily able to be farmed so if he didn’t drop it, make sure to finish the quest just to be sure, then exit to the menu and continue.

Stats and Perks

As you can see, the Ion Cannon hits like a truck, and you get it at a perfect time to be set up to fight the final boss.

However, the Ion Cannon doesn’t fire like a normal rocket launcher, its special is that it has a charge up to firing. It feels kind of like a railgun, or Halo’s iconic Spartan Laser, but fires actual rockets.

While usually Vladof have a second function to their weapons, but this isn’t the case for the Ion Cannon. With the way it hits, there’s no reason for there to be any extra firing features.
