How to Heal in Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta

The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout beta has arrived and player’s are excited to jump into the new battle royale mode Treyarch has created in the latest installment in the series. Call of Duty looks to set itself apart from the battle royale competition in a number of ways. With the addition of land, sea, and air vehicles player’s will find themselves with a variety of tools at their disposal to be the last person standing. Blackout will also incorporate the beloved Zombies franchise into the mix in some form.

These two things already help set Blackout apart from other competitors in the battle royale genre, but players are still left with a lot of questions that will hopefully be answered with this beta. One question for players already jumping into the fray is how do they heal?

Healing is dedicated to the L1 button. Using first aid which will heal you for 25 health and finding a med kit on the map will heal you for even more. The game will default to using your first aid first, before using a med kit if you have one. You can open your inventory and select the med kit from there if you don’t want to use your first aid. Currently these are the only ways to heal in Blackout but that may change in the full release of the game.

The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta is out now for PlayStation 4 players and runs until Sept. 17. For Xbox and PC players you will be able to join the fight on Sept. 14. Be sure to soak up as much Blackout before the full release with Call of Duty Black Ops 4 on Oct. 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
