Is There Co-Op Multiplayer in BattleTech?

BattleTech is a turn-based strategy game developed by Harebrained Schemes. Here, players assume the role of a mercenary commander who leads a battalion of impressive combat vehicles called BattleMechs. That being said, you’ll have the option to customize the mech’s pilot, armor, model, skills, and armaments throughout the campaign. Some fans might be wondering if they can actually complete the game with friends through co-op multiplayer.

Unfortunately, the said feature won’t be included in the game. Co-op was never part of the Kickstarter’s stretch goals, hence why it won’t be integrated when BattleTech officially launches. However, a community member has spoken up about multiplayer in the game’s official forums. “Co-op isn’t part of the Kickstarted feature-set for this game, but it’s something a lot of us on the team would really like to add, in success, down the road after launch.”
