How to Call the Eagle Senu in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

Eagle vision has been a key part of Assassin’s Creed since the original game but Origins, the new Egypt set iteration, takes that to a more literal point with the introduction of Senu, Bayek’s eagle side-kick. With Origins being a story about the founding of the Assassins Brotherhood, it makes sense for us to be told how eagle vision came to be.

Senu acts as a drone of sorts for Bayek, silently scouting out the area ahead, tagging objectives as it goes, so that the protagonist can plan his movements accordingly. Although it is entirely less modern and technological, it is very similar to the drone in Ubisoft’s other open-world action title, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, as it has the ability to analyze Bayek’s surroundings and tag important objects and living creatures.

To call Senu to assist you in missions in Assassin’s Creed Origins, you simply press up on the d-pad. Be sure to just press it quickly because holding it will instead see Bayek perform a pulse that marks nearby enemies. Doing so will automatically change the camera to the eagle’s bird’s eye view and you will be able to begin moving it into the position you want. To call Senu back, you can press up on the d-pad again or circle/B. Be aware, however, that you can’t use Senu when you’re in tombs, during sandstorms, or during other specific story sections in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
