How to Buy More Emotes in Anthem

Recommended Videos

Anthem is a game all about causing massive destruction with your Javelin suit, using it to take down tons of enemies. That doesn’t mean you aren’t allowed to have some fun, of course, and with the game’s multiplayer focus you can bet there’ll be some fun instances of emotes and dances. We’re here to help you figure out how to buy more emotes in Anthem.

How to Use Emotes

Before anything else, you’ll need to know how to actually use emotes. Luckily, this is quite easy. You can have up to three emotes equipped at one time and all you need to do to use one is hit left, right, or down on the d-pad.

For PC it’ll be mapped to period, comma, and slash. Each button corresponds to a different one.

How to Get More

If you want to purchase more emotes you’ll need to head over to the Forge at Fort Tarsis. Once there, tab over the Appearance section of your Javelin customization screen, and select the Animations option.

From here you can swap out any emotes, gestures, and dances that you have. In order to purchase new ones, you can hover over one of the various slots and then press RB/R1 to tab over to the buy option. Of course, you’ll need Coins or Shards to purchase anything, so keep that in mind.

As of the time of writing, there are only a couple of extra emotes available in the store. However, BioWare is sure to add in more at release and consistently after launch has well. Considering the multiplayer focus of Anthem, it’s going to be receiving new content for a while.

Hopefully, that tells you everything you need to know about how to buy more emotes in Anthem. For even more tips and guides make sure to search Twinfinite, or you can check out our ever-expanding Anthem guide wiki.
